Victorian Food Waste Action Summit 2024 Program – Tues. 1st October

Our inaugural Action Summit was an event open to the wider public to participate in developing citizen-supported action plans to accelerate food waste reduction solutions.

The morning involved the presentation of the findings of the 2024 Food Waste Climateers Industry Survey followed by expert panel discussions to explore ‘low-hanging’ opportunities to catalyse the  prevention, rescue and recycling levers.

In the afternoon, there was a rotating workshop where participants rotate through 3 of the 8 tables to ‘hack action plans’ so that after the event, self organising teams can collaborate to accelerate progress.
